Γνωστή κι αυτή η αλήθεια από πολλούς αρ-
χαίους συγγραφείς: οι Θεσσαλές γυναίκες την
τέχνη της μαγείας γνώριζαν και κατεβάζαν το
φεγγάρι στην αυλή τους, κάνοντας το υπαίθριο
αλωνάκι μυστικό ναό. Έτσι κι απόψε που βλέπω
αυτό το υπέρλαμπρο φεγγάρι να θωπεύει το
βουνό κι ύστερα να κατεβαίνει στα δρομάκια
των χωριών, σαν λυπημένο πρόσωπο παιδιού
που χάθηκε, ψάχνω να βρω πού γίνονται τα
μάγια, πού δένονται τα ξόρκια, πού θα δοθούν
της μοίρας μας οι τελικοί χρησμοί.
