A messenger ploughs up and down fields of long forgotten sins
swiftly he blows away entire armies, nations
with no remourse, guilt, or second thought
for he is the artist that hums through the rock
stealthy, but quick to arrive when thou summons him,
grasping in his nurturing hand eons,
whole eras...
all of which he wtinessed, and blew away...
Air, the playful child of earth...
the oldest of words still echoe in his void
sayings of men history has long forgotten slip from his milky tunic
and gaze upon the present.
Concealed in the wind's memory lies everything mouths and pens ever shaped;
every word, every phrase
still randomly alotted somewhere in the soul of one who does not forget
but only washes away thy dust
someday, he will do so...
like he did with cities, islands, time herself
his minions...
hurricanes, storms, tornadoes,
rushing man's proud stature into nothingness
ruins...
behold the power of air
deny not his authority on thee
welcome the wind as he makes thy clothes flutter and blasts dust in thy eyes
rest assured,
he will remember you.
