Twas the night in a maze of dreams
And my feelings grew strong
Wondered about a huge scheme
No, I said, this is where I belong

Opened my eyes and saw a lassie
The one that stole my heart
She came up, became all kissy
And blew my heart apart.

I stood up, all baffled
And said, what do you do?
She said, I’m in your heart all buckled
And thus began a story, with no date due

Twas really dark in the night
Succeeded in feeling twas a day
My strong feelings she was to ignite
And thus was on love’s highway

Twas really dark in the night
Woke up, the story wasn’t true
The emptiness light grew bright
And thus I said adieu
