she dumbed him
after 8 years of
a somewhat passionate relationship

she made that crystal clear

of course it's not
it's never gonna

it is of the human's stupidity
or romance
to believe that
all good stuff last forever

one is lost on his/her ocean
of unreasonable anticipations

then becomes unattained
figures out that it's always
the other to blame

then makes a new start
just to find the old same shit
not to consider the enemy within

so then,
everyone's looking for the one
and that's what finds at some point

untill the one isn't really something special
or
"it's not like it used to be"

and this ordeal goes on and on

a chick is what it is
you did what was on you
and,
the first love is always messy
guess she knows that too

as a decent man
you learn to clean your shit
and stay unaffected
no matter what

you keep this promise to yourself
and go forward

it's not even about a goddamn relationship
it's about a man keeping his own word

and then he gambles again
