I can't express how I feel today,
Just listen to this, and you'll see the way...
I'm not sure if it's your shining eyes,
That brightened the room where I'd often hide,
To show me I wasn't lost in the night,
But stuck in the shadows, out of sight...
I've found my words once more, and my soul is here,
I've overcome the struggles, I've conquered my fears.
For all I've experienced, it's clear to me,
I'll kiss your lips, even if it's not meant to be.
So close your eyes and dream of soaring high,
On the paths of the soul, reaching for the sky.
And if you call me a dreamer, floating above the ground,
It's true, I confess, I'm chasing stars all around.
