The mind inhales the scents, jumbles the colors,
Undisputed scriptwriter of life’s chancy volumes.
Like Aphrodite rising from the waves come ‘Dreams’
Daring, untouchable, bold and fearless visions of white
Undaunted, my spirit sculpts, sitting on fantasy’s throne
Breeding statues of bliss and rapture – winged with desire
They fly to be breathless dawns of future’s paradise
Or erotic twilights scented with midnight’s hidden secrets.
‘Passion’ comes next, to fuel the unceasing crusade
It is the fire that burns inside me, ample and potent
The force that turns me into queen and slave alike
The magic power which transforms me to siren and fiend
A white rose blossoming by a window overlooking Gaia,
Inner beauty that spawns the dancer and lover I am.
With nocturnal foresight arrives the tempting ‘Shadow’’,
A skillful hand smoothly reaches into my inquisitive whisper
Holding the key to all mystic secrets of primeval synthesis
Gripping the senses one by one, launching the metamorphosis
Of a woman to an eternal muse, of a mortal to a true goddess,
Tenderly unveiling the furtive ingredients of timeless inspiration;
Pothos, Oneira, Pathos, Skia…
