know now the fear
the sting of doubtness
whether it is real
crisis is here and pain is enough

among our kin
we are seen
as sinners
yet we were not the ones
that ate all the money
nor we were sitting ducks
in the pond of euro

we hear
we learn
that we are not alone
the beast is eating countries
i am afraid
i fear what is coming is more dark

outcasted and forsaken
what our future holds
a place over the sun
or the shadows of the world
no homer no plato
only black wine
to drink to oblivion
in this endless night
