28-08-2007 05:37 | It is a greek poem and song... But the translation hides all its beauty.... And also there are some mistakes and misunderstanding from the one who made it... For example, "In a canoe you leave and return"... The greek word "????????" means "return", but it can also be used as "wander around (maybe pointlessly)".... The poetic greek language cannot be easily understood in translation. So if want to know what this song is about try to read between the lines and search the meaning behind the words. There is no rhyme, and that makes it even worse. But in Greece we believe it is one of the best poems of our age. |
