Να περπατάς με τη σκιά σου
να τρως, να πίνεις, να γελάς, να τραγουδάς
και να θυμάσαι αν κοιμάσαι να ξυπνάς
και να ‘ναι δίπλα σου όπου πας
Να ‘ναι θεός το ταίρι σου
κι άμα δεν είναι δεν πειράζει
δε βαριέσαι δε σε νοιάζει
μη σκοντάφτεις δεν αλλάζει

Να βγαίνεις βόλτα με τον ίσκιο σου
κι αν σου ‘χει κάνει τη ζωή πατίνι

από μπροστά αφεντικό και οδηγός και φυλαχτό
φρουρός και σύντροφος πιστός
