Psarantonis - Gorge
Η μια μεριά του φαραγγιού
δε σμίγει με την άλλη
και λαχταρούνε το σεισμό
ν’ αγκαλιαστούνε πάλι
Στο πέταμα του γερακιού
τ’ άλλα πουλιά ζηλένε
γιατί πετούνε χαμηλά
αν θένε κι αν δε θένε
One side of the gorge
not meeting the other
and they’re longing for earthquake
to hug again.
At the hawk’s flight
the other birds are jealous
‘cos they fly low
whether they want it, or not.
