Τριγύρω μας όλα γελούνε
αγάπη μου μαγευτικά
για έρωτα μόνο μιλούνε
και παίζουν ερωτικά
Σκορπούν ευωδιές τα λουλούδια
μεθά πιο πολύ η καρδιά
γλυκά κελαηδούνε τραγούδια
πουλάκια μες στα κλαδιά
Για μας κελαηδούν τα πουλιά
χαρούμενα μες στη φωλιά
μαζί μας κι αυτά μεθυσμένα
γλυκά τραγουδούν μαγεμένα
κρυμένα στην αμυγδαλιά
για μας κελαηδούν τα πουλιά
Around us, they all laugh,

They only talk about love,
And play lovingly.
The flowers scatter lovely smells,
The heart becomes even more drunk,

The birds sing songs.

Happy in their nest,
