| Aristotle's elements: Fire | | | Sorry tella, but it was a nice picture | | A dormant dragon now awakens,
in all his might and glory
disturbed by the rotting air befalling the creek
there...
lean forward and witness the rise of fire,
for thou may come across life
even here
from the ashes a phoenix breathes once more
claiming liberty by force,
finding it in the most inhospitable corners of the world
in a bath of flame, this being spreads its wings
choking the midnight skyline with endless shades of yellow, orange, red...
a million and two entities,
children of combustion
patches of flame pixillating the moon,
distorting its image in their reckless dance.
And the dragon...
with its fiery eyes,
spitting sparks and flickering corruption
as beautiful to give life as he is to take it
here he stands, before thee
breathing smoke,
exhaling the darkest truths of this cosmos;
before thy swollen eyes he tosses rivers of lava
and into them thou drown, vanish,
a victim of nature's guardian...
food for a creative soul...
this time it appears fire has taken life,
another demise forged from boiling magma...
