 | | Aristotle's elements: Earth | | | | "I like that even I can control your thoughts"... is that so? | | | Drop to the ground, a shaking, crippled mass of testosterone
nothing but the moist soil exists to comfort thee, soften the blow,
as boulders and rocks alike arise from the foot of the terrain,
shaping themselves, into the anvil of dawn,
watch as the morning sun casts shadows by their side,
the power of earth spanning as far as thy eye can see
 in every direction...
to the horizon and beyond, far beyond the reach of man
the earth sculpts homes, spreads green valleys and lets them thrive
creator of all life foundation, on which all people stand and play about with their lives
on the backbone of existence, earth,
where mud flutters at the breeze of midnight
and lilacs flow, singing with the song of twilight,
a mount of dust accumulates at the foot of a bursting volcano
 mother nature releasing rage
an eerie reminder that one day it will all be laid to rest into infinity
when the people pay their respects to life and return to the warm safety of the ground
 yes...
 thou will experience it too
the clarity one finds as he releases the stubborness of existing
and blindly obeys the instinct to fall apart at the scene,
silently, stealthily, with not a hint of pain, before no one to see
he dispells his sorrow and disintegrates into mother earth's invisible palace
into the dimention beyond matter, a soul amongst other lost souls
free, and liberated, taken by the soil to rest for eternity
recognising and belonging to no one, in this altar of trance,
watching us all, listening, but not intervening,
as the earth claims another life, not the first nor the last
 as the price for restoring peace, in the perpetual circle of life;
 ashes to ashes
 dust to dust....
