So the sky turns black
gathered clouds in my heart
waiting for the rain
lightning, silent storm, unbearable pain.
So the sea will rise again
helpless tide like a tear will remain
higher the waves will break
sounds my soul away that take.
A vision, a pained face
I became too tired of this life
a ghost of myself in disgrace
me against myself a futile strife.
A soothing rain falling
acid drops burning on me
can't you hear my calling?
can't you tell me what you see?
And I know I'll end up crawling
along some dead past memories
on my last breath I lose grip
And I know you are like me,burning deep.
Don't judge me angel of light
all my life clouded over this darkness
were you here to see my fight?
'cause this surely leads up to madness.
Faint,silent raining tears
perennial sky,always clears
Oh so long tormented soul wait one's turn
in time the sea will grow calm...
...deeply still you burn.
