| In a boring, uncomfortable corner we await the blows of fate
we await them to get past them, for they taught us this is life
We await the sorrows to listen to our favorite songs,
And we live happiness briefly, like a fattening dessert
Like a luxury too costly to become accustomed to
How did we get here? The financial circles divide generations
Into happy and frightened, healthy and famished
And since the knives of poverty pursue us
And since man is charitable or criminal based on what he owns
Or in search of the things missing
What sins do we speak of and what murderer?
Are our ancestors to blame? Did we inherit the same bad blood?
Meaningless questions when for injustice to change
Large-scale destruction is necessary
When, in the end, another man's pain or loss is the only solution
And if we don't ultimately survive? Who claims to be so humanistic?
And in my effort to not be vulgar in this handmade mess we're in
There eventually come love and lust - blackened
But how the hell can I, learning since the age of five only how to survive
How to resent and manipulate, reject and mistrust
How the Hell can I love as I should?
I abhor convenience and the love that fill me with joy
For I allow no one to steal from me, my protective sorrow
To no enchanting being, no folklore fairy do I allow
To tear down the misery I myself created
A misery in harmony with society and my upbringing
And mostly, compatible with the current economic slump...
In a boring, uncomfortable corner we await the blows of fate
We await them to get past them, for they taught us this is life
We await the sorrows to listen to our favorite songs,
And we live happiness briefly, like a fattening dessert
Like a luxury too costly to become accustomed to
We wait for some alcohol or sleeping pills
And let any willing moron come to judge us...
