When we were young,
we were kids playing around.
Do you remember?
We were just having fun.
And problems? We had none.
Everything was tender.
But we grew up
and things got dark.
We lost our way.
We slept and didn't wake up.
We got stuck inside the life trap.
For now, I've one more thing to say.
I and you.
We're still the same crew.
We are together.
We’ll be here
to fight the ugly fear.
Always and forever.
At heart, we'll stay young.
Like children we will play, each and every day.

“Yes, of course. I can still remember
our days from January to December.
These sweet days I would not forget,
specially the day at the slide we met,
and the innocent tie we both shared.
Chuckling, with other kids we raced.
Black did not visit; our life was rosy
as our childhood kingdom was cozy.
With open arms, peace welcomed us,
And with warmth the sun greeted us.
But slowly all things have changed.
We have jumped into another world.
Yes, things have not stayed the same.
Life’s been a predator we can’t tame.
All lively colors have been weakened.
Shades of eerie darkness have danced,
sung and grown longer claws to get us.
Di, welcome onboard the maturity bus!
It’s frightening, but it isn’t the end though.
There’s a lot to live for and to give it a go.
Have not you heard about the silver lining?
It’s dark out, but light will find its way in.
t makes us stronger; it’s not as we thought.
Hope keeps us in the life’s deep seas afloat.
