Slow steps on the wet grass
Moist is the breath trapped in my chest
A garden drenched in afterstorm
The willow’s branches dripping dewtears
My intrusive eyes inhale the images
Of nature’s covert modus operandi
A curtain of silence drapes my twilight
Halting the moment for me to own
Sultry shadows mock my vision
Playful sounds that reach my ears
A moan my neck fleetingly brushes
My lips part for yearning’s whimper
Body snatched by passion’s calling
Fervent waterfall bursts from the soul
To fuse with my river of desire
Licking the shores of my control
Sweeping away all strength’s resolve
Ensnared I stand in illusory aloneness
Nebulous figure standing still
No one could tell I’m not there really
That lost I am inside a breathless dream
Captured once more within the kingdom
Of you... my twilight secret.
