A Eucalyptus through grey years treasured
bleeding then, with the colours of dusk
its silver tear, in perpetuity lingering
another leaf surrenders, and the soul withers
deep within, she plants the silent scream
with wound, with regret
descends into the shell of a binary question.

A flash. Nothing and back again.
Countless suns, drawn from infinity's cryptic string
more questions, less memory
her facade, vacant
was she the same who tasted these wonders?

Starlit stillness;
