Daybreak.
Eyes wide shut;
I surrender the crescent, pale
and turn to taste you once more.

Are we features of the same face both, can it be felt
you and I and back again, this eclipse we're swirling into?

With a cacophony of thought, circling around nothing
mind weary, body clinging to the night
by the mortal kiss of salt and shadow,
she turns;
full circle, I am yours.
