Stolen moments in my day -
they always take my breath away.
Stolen moments in my night,
to you I give my passion's plight.
A song I hear, I'll close my eyes,
through notes your spirit will arise.
My yard is busy with spring's chores
yet all the miracles seem yours.
My mirror shows a sunny face,
it's you my eyes long to embrace.
Routine will take me close to noon
your love shall fly me to the moon.
I smile, I dance, I speak, I sing
my heart beats to the joys you bring.
Giggling I'm rolling on the floor,
last night you opened one more door.
The simplest things I have to do
they only lead me back to you.
The breezeThe clouds
The tints of blue
A sigh
A moan
The morning's dew
A wish
A dream
My hungry lips
A prayer
A quiver
My fingertips
As absorbed in you I breathe
I mutely confess my silent creed
Your touch has swallowed my soul's core
moments with you are stolen no more.
