If you only knew all the wonderful things you will miss
now that you’ve hurt the one you once did so tenderly kiss.
If you only knew what a gift of beauty and wonder you lost
but all too soon your duplicity and lies will demand a higher cost.

Is this how you repay the kindness shown to you
you said you had never known such goodness and it was true.
You proved to be undeserving of all that was given to you without demand
you took and took all the time and never once gave out your own hand.

She will forever be who she is regardless of curs like you
always ready to help and encourage those that she loves hard and true.
You are just another lost lamb she chose to shelter and aid
one that cost her very dearly and yet happily she paid.

You will see her one of these days with that sweet smile on her face
walking quietly along the street at a moderate pace.
Her eyes focused on the world ahead and on a future so bright
because at last someone who deserves her - has come into her light.

Into her eyes he has brought back that familiar twinkle and spark
she smiles from within now, her heart is no longer pained and dark.
She is loved by someone better than you could ever hope to possibly be
but in this life all will be repaid – as you yourself shall all to soon see.

Remember only that once when you needed someone she was there
she was the only one in a world of strangers that bothered to care.
Remember that - when you think of her - and wish her well
and then go back to your selfish world – forever more with such grace to never dwell.[/I]
