On my knees I prayed:

"Please, God, save his life,
for he is a bud not yet in complete bloom.
Perform one of your miracles
and let him become a flower.
Please, don't take him yet..."

and God didn't hear.

On his hospital bed, he prayed:

"Death,
you are approaching.
Won't you take me in your arms...
I am aware of your presence
sneaking up behind me,
like a bee
slowly,
waiting,
waiting,
waiting for my pollen.
I won't resist you.
I don't want to..."

and death listened.
