Έπεσα σε πέλαγα
στα κύματά, σού γέλαγα
και πάσχιζα να μη σε βλέπω να δακρύζεις
Από όνειρο σε όνειρο
μια τρύπα εγώ μεσ’ στο νερό
Και πλάγιασα σε όποια όχθη αρμενίζεις
Πριν πεις το γεια
ρίξε μια πιστολιά
απ’ τον κρότο να ξυπνήσω
Πριν να είναι αργά
πριν πας μακριά
τρόπο να βρω να σε κρατήσω
Νύχτα κι άλλη νύχτα
με κομμένα δίχτυα
Πώς να πιάσω εσένα
χέρια μου αδειανά
Νύχτα ξημερώνει
νύχτα που τυφλώνει
Ήλιε πριν με κάψεις
δώσ’ μου φως ξανά
Έσκισες το χάρτη μου
και έκλαψες για πάρτη μου
που χάθηκα στα μαύρα σκοτεινά νερά σου
Με έδιωξες, με ζήτησες
με πάλεψες, με νίκησες
λανθάνουσα ειν’ η πορεία της καρδιάς σου
