Αν έχεις δόντι του φονιά
και γούστα ματωμένα.
Αν μαύρισες τον ουρανό
και θες να φας κι εμένα
μέσα στη καταιγίδα...
Θα γίνω αγκάθι στο λαιμό σου,
σκόνη μες το μάτι,
μέσα στ’ αυτί σου ψίθυρος
και σύγκρυο στην πλάτη,
στη σιγουριά σου αγκίδα...
Πάντα θα ξημερώνει.
Σκοτάδι αν είσαι αφέγγαρο,
λεπίδι δίχως πόνο,
δύναμη δίχως όνειρο,
ταξίδι δίχως δρόμο
οργή χωρίς καθρέφτη...
Θα γίνω μέρα που θα `ρθει
κι άνοιξη στο λουλούδι
μες το γκρεμό σου αντίλαλος
και πιο βαθύ τραγούδι
στη μαχαιριά που πέφτει...
Πάντα θα ξημερώνει.
Τι είναι Ζωή, τι ειν’ η Ζωή
και τι τ’ ανάμεσό τους.
Ένα φωσάκι αγέννητο
μες την καρδιά του σκότους...
