Ξεκινάμε, πάμε μακριά
Σ’ άλλα μέρη, σ’ άγνωστα νερά
Στο μουράγιο μένεις μόνη εσύ
Πάντα ο νους μου θα `ναι στο νησί
Τώρα το πλοίο έχει σαλπάρει
Κι από τα μάτια σβήνει η στεριά
Μες στα κατάρτια πετούνε οι γλάροι
Κι εγώ σου λέω «έχε γεια»
Γύρω γύρω η θάλασσα γυαλί
Μα η σκέψη μου έμεινε θολή
Λάμπει ο ήλιος τώρα από ψηλά
Στο μυαλό μου έρχονται πολλά
Τώρα το πλοίο έχει σαλπάρει
