Είδα στον ύπνο μου εχθές
μακριά να λάμπουν δυο ζωές
καμιά δικιά μου
Η μια δεν ήταν κανενός
την άλλη κράταγε ο καιρός
στα όνειρά μου
Είδα στον ύπνο μου εχθές
να πολεμάνε δυο αστραπές
με την καρδιά μου
Τον κόσμο η νύχτα είχε παντού
κι εκεί, στη μέση τ’ ουρανού
σε είδα μπροστά μου
Πόσο κρατάει ένα όνειρο;
Όσο αντέχει η καρδιά
να μένει κι ας χορεύει
με το σκοτάδι αγκαλιά
να μένει κι ας μη βλέπει
ούτε ένα φως απ’ τη στεριά
