1η ερμηνεία:
Τα φώτα είχαν ανάψει στην πλατεία.
Οι ανταύγειες περνούσαν απ’ τα τζάμια
στα σκοτεινά δωμάτια. Το επιπλοποιείο
είχε κλείσει από ώρα. Στο βάθος
ακούγεται η κιθάρα του Τυφλού κατάκοπη
σε απώτερο χρόνο. Τ’ αγάλματα τού διαδρόμου
σαλεύουν ανεπαίσθητα τα χείλη τους. Ο μεγάλος Σκύλος
ήθελε να μού δείξει τη φιλία του. ’Αλλά
ο Αλκιβιάδης του ’χε κόψει την ούρα του.
Έτσι έμεινε το ποίημα δίχως λέξεις.
