Ο αχός των κυμάτων που σπάζουν στους κροτάφους,
ένα σιγανό μουρμουρητό καμωμένο απ’ τον ήχο των φλεγόμενων πουλιών.
Τα φτερά τους απλώνουν στον άνεμο
να στεγνώσουν τη γύμνια του κόσμου
κι αργοσαλεύουν στο φρύδι του θεού
απαθής
που μοιράζει τη φρίκη
στα μάτια των σερνάμενων υπηκόων του.
