Στης λίμνης τα βαθιά νερά
μικρή βαρκούλα τριγυρνά
και όλο ταξιδεύει να φτάσει θέλει μακριιά
στου άλλου κόσμου τα βουνά
που πίκρα δεν παιδεύει.
Σαν πάψει μπάντα να γυρνά,
σαν κουραστούνε τα κουπιά
ολόγυρα να τρέχουν,
μέσα απ’της λίμνης
τα βαθιά νερά η αγάπη θα ποθά
αγγέλους να την εύρουν.
Όποιος βαδίζει στα νερά,
όποιος πηγαίνει μακριά
και πίσω δεν κοιτάζει
κι οι φίλοι θα τον αρνηθούν
κι οι αγάπες όλες θα σκιαχτούν
τον δρόμο που τραβάει.
