Σε ένα κιβώτιο μου έστειλες τα πράγματα.
Την πουκαμίσα, την θήκη των φακών,
το ποίημα που έγραψες για μένα,
τον πίνακα που θα κρεμούσαμε στον τοίχο
τον κενό χώρο στην ντουλάπα σου
τα άδεια ράφια με τα βιβλία φαντάσματα.
Φαντάζομαι πως όσο τακτικά και αν δίπλωσες
δεν μπόρεσες να χωρέσεις το κρεβάτι,
όλο φούσκωνε σαν αερόστατο
και πετούσε μακριά.
Ούτε κι εγώ έχω όμως χώρο πια γι αυτά.
Η αποθήκη μου βλέπεις,
είναι γεμάτη νεκρά φθινόπωρα
και άχρηστα «για πάντα»
με χαλασμένα ελατήρια.
