The night arrived and the stars appeared,
when El Niño came to dance.
Dreams in vain of those in pain
and the God inside his gun.
Who was that stranger with the fancy hat,
covered by his long grey coat?
"He dances like the Devil but he talks like a saint",
nobody could find it out.
Wicked beauty with long black hair
kept on dancing in the dark.
The Devil saw the saint drawing with black paint,
to the shadows they belong.
Black and white like a checkers board,
all the colors disappear.
Black and white with a touch of red,
that was when they shot him down.
The band played silence, everybody danced
to the sound of El Niño's last waltz,
a gunshot symphony with deadly notes,
stains of blood all over the floor.
If you're aware of El Niño's tale
you should know the end has come.
The saint will be the Devil cause the Devil's the saint
till they meet each other again.
