sometimes times the stars stare back at me,
sometimes readers become writers.

sometimes I stare at you,
sometimes you stare back at me,
sometimes moons give way to suns.

sometimes I stare at a reflection
sometimes the mirror hides a tale
sometimes sleep lets loose a dream.

sometimes I stop;
sometimes I wonder,
what awoke me there and then
sometimes queens become women
sometimes kings become men.
