Red light-- STOP.
Green light-- GO.

He races at the red
He stops at the green.
Speed, his name is Speed,
always in the lead.

He's racing for the light.
How many miles per hour?
He doesn't hear the sirens
He doesn't see the tunnel.

Red light --STOP!

Did he know, I wonder,
he was racing with his life?
Nobody knew why
Nobody heard his cry.

The race ended in bloodshed
and a wrecked, useless car.
His broken bones resembled
his lonely, broken heart.

Red light-- STOP!
