Across the street stands a huge house
filled with special, precious people;
they walk about its vast gardens,
some appreciating them,
some starving for knowledge,
and some,
the weakest of the rest,
are willing to be molded into society's standards,
attempt to,
fail,
succeed,
fail,
still try.
Across the street stands a cold house
with many frightened human beings;
they walk about its vast gardens,
some to escape,
some to belong.. to someone... to something,
and some,
the weakest of the rest,
struggle to exist by trying to cope with society's standards.

Across the street...
across the street is a new world
yet, just a hundred feet away
live precious people,
carefree,
careful,
careless,
caring,
innocent -- as children sometimes --
gullible,
pure,
all starving for attention,
all starving for approval...
Why mold them into pawns?
Across the street there is a house
of unique souls undiscovered.
Across the street there's another world,
yet,
just a hundred feet away,
a world so close,
a world so different,
a world across the street.
