Wandering warriors extend lucid
invisible tentacles beneath some
disappearing sun -- grasp softly, then tight,
practically suffocate before splendid
kisses pour like Lucifer's brilliant light...
and frantic Venus calls for aid, in vain.

Sacred cities sleep a restless, horrid,
venom-like slumber, longing for loathsome,
chocking veils to uplift. Dreams so vivid!
Silent wonders forsake the now dead might
of gods. With weary breaths, the sun takes flight,
Venus dies, and shrouded evil remains.
