they asked if i could save the world
i looked from my high tower
the flames that burnt low
and i told them to go
there was no haze

they came again
in fear and pain
i was a king
i never felt guilty
or a little pain
so i let them slip away

from my frozen throne
i sat and stare
the flame were near
i felt the fear
but there was nobody to fight with me
they were done and run away

from there to now
i fight the flames
enemies here and no friend near
life is cruel i know it now
but i must stand for myself
and for what i v lost in flames

so by my one self i ve lost anything dear
the flame bound my strength
and know i now the price of arrogance
to be forsaken and insane
