Lyrics: Andreas Thomopoulos
Music: Andreas Thomopoulos
First version: Pavlos Sidiropoulos

I am writing to you again because I'm in need
at five o'clock in the morning
the only thing that remains
standing in the world, is you.

What good are their honors
the words of those acts
in the screen of my mind
(they are) dead paper idols.

Love me, as much as you can, love me

Looking into the mirror
I see a familiar face
whose uggliness might go away
once I wash and shave

The breath stinks from the cigaretts
my brain is being overencumberred from the many thought
on the wall there is some Mona Liza
who brings you even closer

Love me, as much as you can, love me

Although this letter is nearing its end
my need does not stop
like the bird on a wire
like an outlaw on the loose *

I want you to come and enlighten me, **
to tell me the fairytale,
to hug me like mother earth
like a white light to return

 * I had a very hard time with this one. For one, outlaw is not necessarily a good translation. It could be just wild person, or a typical lone-cowboy type, whose home is the road...
Moreover, what I translated as "on the loose" meaning wandering around, could be translated as the exact opposite: returning, or in some sense (finally) settling down. However, given the type of life of P.Sidiropoulos, I think "outlaw on the loose" is the closest to what he meant.

** a word-to-word translation would be "turn me on," but I doubt Sidiropoulos had sexual innuendo in his mind...

All the lyrics are interconnected with each other... I enjoy to read the lyrics of the songs instead of listen it. I love reading and I am passionate about writing that is why I'm creative content writers who facilitate the creative content for blogs to the https://britishcoursework.com/law-coursework and I write on different topics as well depends upon the client's requirements.
