| | | | Dalaras sings this song on Τα ρεμπέτικα της Κατοχής, that is, rembetiko songs from the Occupation (of Greece during WW2 by the Nazi's). In that context, "Chaidari" means "German prison camp" (it is the name of neighbourhood of Athens where the camp was) and "Odos Sekeris" means (the street where were situated) the headquarters of the Sicherheitsdienst.
