Αν συγχωρέσεις τον εαυτό σου,
αν καταφέρεις ν’ αγαπήσεις λένε
αυτό το μαύρο φως αλλάζει χρώμα,
νομίζω λένε κάτι ακόμα.
Μοιάζουνε μαύρα τα νερά που ταξιδεύουμε
όμως εμείς βλέπουμε χρώματα κι ακόμα
πάνω στο Boundy λένε αντέχουμε.
Στα μονοπάτια αυτά που χάραξες
τα φίδια ζητάνε να συρθώ για να περάσω.
Θα κατεβαίνω μέχρι να φτάσω,
κάτω από τόνους πλαστικά σκουπίδια,
εκεί που λάμπουν τα χαμένα δαχτυλίδια,
στην αμμουδιά σου.
Να μη ξεχάσω
της μοναξιάς μου το γεράκι να γυμνάσω.
Τα φίδια κρέμονται απ’ το δέντρο σαν θηλιά
μα αν τους ξεφύγω μπορεί να πιάσω
το άλογο σου απ’ το λαιμό και αγκαλιά
να ταξιδεύουμε μέσα στη μέρα
που χρόνια τώρα τρέχω να προφτάσω.
Τι είν’ η γαλήνη, τι είν’ η γαλήνη;

λένε πως βλέπεις την απάντηση γραμμένη στη σελήνη.

snakes hanging from the tree like a noose

that i've been runnning to catch for years.
