Κι άλλη μέρα πέρασε να σε περιμένω
κι άλλο Σαββατόβραδο έφυγε χαμένο
κι ο καημός με άρπαξε πάλι απ’ τον ώμο
θάμπωσαν τα μάτια μου να κοιτώ στο δρόμο
Άμα δείτε το φεγγάρι
να του πείτε να μη βγει
να μη δει τα δάκρυά μου
που πλημμύρισαν τη γη
Το σκοτάδι χίμηξε απ’ το παραθύρι
το κρασί σου πάγωσε μέσα στο ποτήρι
φάνηκαν στο πέλαγο κάτι πυροφάνια
πέλαγος ατέλειωτο κι η δική μου ορφάνια

να του πείτε να μη βγει
